It is one the most compact and full-featured double buggies that are available and has won numerous awards, including Mother & Baby Twin Gold in 2014 and Prima Baby Twin Silver in 2015.
Its narrow seats are spacious enough for children of different age groups to comfortably sit together and the seats are reclineable, so children can pick their preferred position. The large canopies come with flip-out sun visors, and the storage basket is spacious with plenty of space. It works with almost all brands and can accept two car seat adapters for infants with the purchase of car seats.
The only drawback is the weight. At 32.4 pounds, it is heavy to lift into and out of the trunk and might be difficult for Grandma to manage. The Bugaboo Donkey Twin is a beautiful, functional buggy with an elegant design. It's a quality product, but not without flaws.
It offers very few extra conveniences, both for the kids and parents. The only thing provided by the side bin is that it can only be used when a seat in the car is attached. There aren't double pram pushchair , cups or pockets for accessories, and this could be problematic for long trips.
The seats aren't able to recline to a completely flat position, and the gap between them is a bit wide which is why our 5 year old had trouble lying back with ease. That's a shame considering it's a top-of-the-line model.
It's simple to maneuver and the swivel wheel is ideal for climbing up stairs and slopes. It's also small enough to fit in most doors and folds easily for storage and transportation. Plus, it can be converted back to mono mode in just three clicks should you require more space or need to get away. The comfort wheeled board can accommodate a third kid if needed. If you're budget-conscious you can find cheaper alternatives. If you like the brand and can afford it, it's well worth the cost.
